What is Lunch Break
A launchpad on Robinhood Chain where every coin trades on the hours of a real stock exchange.
Lunch Break is a token launchpad with one rule that no other launchpad has: a coin can only trade while the stock exchange it was born on is open.
When you create a coin you pick New York, London, Hong Kong or Tokyo. From then on your coin keeps that exchange's calendar forever. Weekends, holidays, the lunch break in Hong Kong and Tokyo, the opening bell, the closing bell. All of it is enforced by the smart contracts, on chain, with no off switch.
Exchange hours
Which hours, which calendar, and what a closed market means for you.
The opening tax
A 98% tax on the first second of every session, falling to zero in thirty seconds.
The bonding curve
How price is set before graduation, and where the 4 ETH figure comes from.
Graduation
What happens when the curve sells out and liquidity locks in Uniswap v4.
Why exchange hours
Most launchpads run around the clock, so the fastest bot in the fastest data center wins every launch. Lunch Break replaces speed with a schedule. Everyone knows when the market opens. Everyone waits for the same bell. The first thirty seconds after the bell are taxed so hard that sniping is pointless, and after that the market is just a market.
It also gives a coin a daily rhythm. There is a close every day, a gap overnight, and an open where price discovery happens again. Coins on NYSE hours are quiet while Tokyo trades, and the reverse.
What nobody can do
No pause, no edits, no withdrawals
Nobody can halt a market, not the creator, not the people who run the site. A coin's exchange cannot be changed after launch. Holidays can only be added to the calendar at least thirty days in advance. After graduation, the liquidity is locked in a pool nobody can withdraw from. These are not policies. The functions do not exist in the contracts.
The short version
Create
Name, symbol, image, exchange, and a few fee choices. 0.001 ETH launch fee. The whole supply goes onto a bonding curve; you hold nothing until you buy.
Trade on the curve
While the exchange is open, anyone buys and sells against the curve in ETH (or in a tokenized stock, if you chose one). 1% fee on every trade, 70% of it to the creator.
Graduate
When 800 million of the billion tokens are sold, the raised ETH and the remaining 200 million tokens move into a Uniswap v4 pool. Same hours, same opening tax, locked forever.
