Risks

Read this before you trade. It is short and it is all true.

You can lose everything

Launch tokens are volatile and can lose all value. Nothing on Lunch Break is advice, and nobody stands behind these coins.

The list

  • Anyone can create a coin with any name or image, including one imitating a real company, person or exchange. Names are not unique. The address is the only identifier that cannot be copied.
  • A closed market means you cannot exit. If the exchange is shut, nothing can be sold until the next bell, however far the price would have moved. Prices gap between sessions, and the first minutes of a session can move violently.
  • Graduation is not a signal. It means the curve sold out. That is all.
  • These tokens make poor collateral. They gap at the open, and if lenders liquidate, they all liquidate at the same moment.
  • The first thirty seconds punish buyers. The opening tax starts at 98%. If you buy at the bell you are paying the creator, not buying a coin.
  • Creators keep 70% of fees and can tax up to 10% more. Read the coin's Terms before trading it. A tax coin is still a tax coin after graduation.
  • Smart contracts can have bugs. The code is tested and reviewed, and the contracts hold no admin keys over markets, but no code is guaranteed.
  • Transactions are final. Your wallet signs them and the chain confirms them. There is no support desk that can reverse one.
  • Exchange marks belong to the exchanges. They appear only to identify hours. No exchange is involved in, or endorses, any coin here.

What nobody can do

Halt a market. Edit a coin's calendar after launch. Add a holiday less than thirty days ahead. Withdraw liquidity after graduation. Mint tokens. These are not promises; the functions do not exist.
